Homework for February 13, 15, 16

Monday

Reading - Study this week's flash cards.  We will be taking Unit 3 Benchmark Test this week so we will not have our  weekly test, but we will read a new story so be sure to study the new flash cards.  February's project will be making a new book jacket for a Valentine book or a book about presidents.  Paper and rubric are in folder.  Directions have been given in school.  The children may use their own book, borrow one from the classroom library, or from the school library.  Project is due on February 24th.

Math - Do page 76.

Spelling - Do pages 73- 74.  Test will be on Friday.

Tuesday  Bo Homework- Enjoy Valentine's Day!

Reading - Read 10 Important Sentences.

Math - Do page 77.

Spelling - Do page 75.

Thursday  - Scholastic Book Club Money is due tomorrow.

Reading - Re-read this week's story.

Math - Do page 78.

Spelling - Do page 76  and study for tomorrow's test.

Religion - Do page 218.  No test this week.

Reminders:

1.  All test must be signed and returned.  I will keep them in your child's test folder.

2.  Please sharpen pencils nightly.  Please make sure your child has a glue stick.  We use them often.

3.  Our class has been very healthy this year because Mrs. Ernst has wiped the children's desks each morning before they arrive.  Please help us remain healthy by sending in another container of wipes and a box of tissues.  Thank you very much if you have already sent yours to school.

4.  Our Valentine bags are up and ready to be filled.  Please remember to write a card for everyone. Please send them to school as soon as you write them so that everyone is not placing them in the bags at the same time.
