The St. Francis of Assisi Home & School Association invites all our students and families to participate in our 2nd walk-a-thon event. Our goal is to support St. Francis of Assisi School. You can raise money by asking family, friends and neighbors to sponsor your child/children through a donation. Families are encouraged to set a goal of $50 and we have some fun incentives if you reach your goal or beyond!
This is our final home and school event of the year. A Night of the Arts was established in 2018 as a way to incorporate our final Band Concert, Recorder Concert performed by our 3rd grade students and a show case of the art work of our students for all to see. Awards for student art work are announced this evening. Light refreshments are served and we welcome all SFA families, students and friends to attend to experience the talents of our students.
Bring your favorite dish and share a fun night with friends!
This event kicks off Catholic Schools Week each year and is focused on bringing all SFA families together following our opening liturgy for a large pot luck dinner. A sign up will be sent to each family, requesting you to provide the number of people from your family attending and what dish you will be provided for the potluck event that evening. There is a large array of food for all to enjoy that evening with our 8th graders serving as “staff” during the event. To cap off the night, students from each grade are invited to participate in the lip synch contest. Students prepare for this with several of our teachers for the week leading up to the event. It is always a great night for all.
Get ready for some amazing presents from your favorite SFA student. Our students are given to opportunity to shop for small gifts for all of the special people on their lists for Christmas each year. This is one of our most popular events of the year for our kids. It is held for several days during the school week and students are given the opportunity to head over and do their shopping. Volunteers are needed to help with check out, shopping assistance, set up and breakdown for this event.
Make some lasting memories at the SFA's Father/Daughter Dance!
Get the cameras ready as you enjoy this memory making event. A special evening for your little girl and her favorite guy!
This is a wonderful event for all of our SFA girls and their Special Guy. The Harvest Ball is formal event with girls and guys dressing in their Sunday best for the event. Expect a great night, with light refreshments, a DJ, photos and beautiful Fall décor. We are in need of atleast 5 volunteer Moms to help with this event.
Last year was the 1st year we welcomed this event to SFA. Due to weather conditions we were forced to have this event in our gym. By chance and thanks to the weather, it was an extreme successful indoor event and the feedback we received was positive to keep this an indoor event. We plan to do the same thing this year. This will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Ticket sales will begin approximately 4 weeks prior and will be available up to the week of the event. All tickets include entrance to the event as well as a Halloween bag for goodies. Last year we had approximately 25 "trunks" for our trunk or treaters and look to meet or exceed that this year. Our event had some incredibly creative trunks (tables) decorated and provided some awesome candy for all who attended. Firehouse donuts and water are provided for all attendees. Be on the lookout for Ticket ordering in early October!
The annual dance-a-thon is held for all students in our gym! Parents are welcome to come to SFA the day of the dance-a-thon to watch our students participate in our Halloween Parade prior to entering the dance-a-thon for the day. A Hotdog lunch is provided for all students. Each student is asked to fundraise for this event annually to assist in raising funds for our technology needs each year. Each year, Miss Carroll looks to provide technological upgrades such a increasing and updating our wireless capabilities on campus, providing new projectors, white boards, and any other technological needs that may arise on our campus. More information will come from Miss Carroll regarding this event. It is a great day of dress up, dancing and fun for our students! Parents are welcome and encouraged to come to campus and watch!
Welcome back students and parents, it is the first day of school! Moms and Dads stop in to Conway Cafeteria for some light morning refreshments after dropping your student off at school to meet some members of our Home and School Board as well as meet other Moms and Dads in our SFA community.
